“Godmode”
Ever want
/ needed to access any of
Windows 7 advanced setup features? There’s an easy way to access them
called
Godmode. Yep that’s what Microsoft named it. It’s easy to get it too.
Simply right
click on a blank area of the desktop and move the mouse cursor over the
word
“NEW”, then left click on “Folder”. This will create a new folder on
the
desktop named “New Folder”. Now, right click on that folder and select
“Rename”
from the options box. Then copy and paste the following as the new name
for the
folder:
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
and that’s
it! You now have a link to all
types of the previously hidden settings for Windows 7.
Shortcut
Arrows
Want to
get rid of those annoying little
arrows on your desktop icons? Here’s an easy way to do it. Use these
little
registry scripts to enable or disable the shortcut arrows. There are
two
different scripts, one for 32-bit
and
one for 64-bit versions of Windows 7.

Activity
Toolbar Icon
Do you
miss the nice little icon that used
to sit on the toolbar that let you see
when data was being sent over the network?
Well, Igor Tolmachev has
written a nifty little program to fix
that, and return the icon to the taskbar. It’s called
Just
download it from the link above and
run it! Reboot the computer and you’ll have your original windows
network
activity icon back on the toolbar where it belongs!
Classic
Windows in Windows 7
If you
miss the clean organized look of
classic windows 98, and XP, here’s a must-have little utility. It’s
called
Windows Classic Shell, and it adds the ability to use and access all of
the
Windows functions that were removed in Windows 7. The classic search
that
allows multi-advanced options, full file details and paths in windows
explorer
and many more are all here and fully Windows 7 compatible . This is

SourceForge.net an open source site.
Click on
the link and download the file,
then run it and it reboot the computer. Once it’s rebooted you’ll have
a new
button on the windows explorer screen that will open the options
settings
window.
